1.What are cookies?

3.Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the sites to function and for security. They are always active and do not require consent. They may include cookies set by our hosting and content-delivery provider (Netlify) to load pages securely and reliably, and any cookie required to remember a cookie choice you have made.
4.Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the sites are used. Plausible is a privacy-first, EU-based service that is deliberately cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, collects no personal data, and does not track visitors across other websites or over time. Because no personal data or cookies are involved, this does not require your consent.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how our pages are actually read (heatmaps and session replay). Unlike Plausible, Clarity does set cookies (_clck and _clsk) and processes usage data on Microsoft’s infrastructure as our processor, so it is never loaded until you give consent. You will be asked before anything is set; declining changes nothing about how the site works, and you can change your mind at any time using the Privacy choices link in the page footer. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a decline. Clarity is never enabled on our password-protected client pages (/proposals/ and /agreements/), and sensitive regions such as text you type into a form are masked from recordings.

Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies only when you actively use them — for example, booking a meeting through an embedded scheduling tool, submitting a form, or playing an embedded video. Where any such non-essential cookie requires consent, we will ask for it before it is set. These third parties operate under their own cookie and privacy policies.

Restricting cookies may affect how some embedded features work.
